A basic but really nice and clean family-run guest house with single and double privates with ensuite facilities just a few minutes walking-disctance from Berawa Beach, and only a little bit further to Batu-Bolong and Berawa. Even Echo Beach can be reached by foot, otherwise scooter or cab.
Around the Guest House are a few nice little bars and cafes that offer amazing breakfast and lunch or dinner.
The family running the Putu Guest House is really helpful and the people staying here are usually kind and of the relaxed sort. This is no party place, so you’re up for a good time if you want to simply enjoy the surf and a calm read on the chairs outside afterwards a good session…
The pricing is good – depending on how long you stay you can always work out a better deal. Since it’s a smaller place, it’s recommended to inquire ahead if they have a room available, but if you haven’t it’s still worth asking in person once you’re there…
We had a great time there – they leave you be if you want them to, but if you need them they’ll help you as best as they can!
General tip if you go by taxi: Always have a phone number or map handy to confirm with the taxi driver where to go – otherwise you might end up somewhere else completely…
